1003 days after the announcement of building a car, Xiaomi Automobile has finally been officially released. 28 December 2023 at 2:00 pm, to the outside world to officially announce the birth of Xiaomi’s first car – Xiaomi SU7, which is a positioning C-class high-performance eco-technology sedan.
Before we talk about the exterior, let’s first understand who designed the car. The Xiaomi Auto SU7’s chief designer and interior designer is from the BMW team, and the exterior designer is from Mercedes-Benz.
Appearances
They have brought the Xiaomi SU7 with very smooth lines, styled like an elegant sports car on top, and a minimalist but sporty overall style. At first glance it looks like a combination of Porsche Taycan and Tesla Model 3.

On the official description of the Xiaomi SU7, the wind resistance coefficient of the Xiaomi SU7 is only 0.195Cd, the lowest in the world for a car. The vehicle’s aerodynamic design, with eight sets of air ducts and 17 air vents, also further reduces the wind resistance coefficient.
Vehicle System
When you sit in the car and press the Star/Stop button, there will be two very significant changes. The first is the steering wheel in front of the screen for a flip from the original Xiaomi SU7 outline into a dashboard screen, and the second is the middle screen, which will be from a car control interface into the card mode.
The Xiaomi SU7’s steering wheel is a very sporty shape, and on the right is a drive mode switch, when you press the centre screen it will show that you are in D gear to accelerate.
There are four physical buttons on the centre armrest, and the bottom one adjusts the height of the Xiaomi SU7’s air suspension and synchronises the centre interface as you do so.
Xiaomi HyperOS

According to Xiaomi, both the V6 and V6s run at speeds of up to 21,000rpm, with the V8s reaching 27,200rpm.
