After the launch of the Lynk & Co 03+, there was always a feeling that it could go up a level in terms of performance. On the evening of 19th October, the even more brawny Lynk & Co 03++ range was officially launched, with the engine’s maximum horsepower upgraded straight from 190bhp to the same 254bhp as the old 03+.

External appearance
The exterior style not only formed a unique model temperament but also created a sporty style that was more comfortable; the entire area of the front face is almost entirely occupied by the grille and air kit, a huge trapezoidal profile of the centre grille inside the smoked vertical bar structure, above the eight beards for a piece of the style of the protruding components, with claw-type deflector slots on both sides of the area. The headlamps still adopt the family’s avant-garde split design, with the headlamps integrated into the interior of the grille, while the daytime running light bands above are in a bulging vertical layout, adding a sense of fierceness and sharpness to the front end.

Lynk & Co 03 from the side does not use too many exaggerated slinky lines; overall, it still maintains the contour shape of the family sedan. The window line at the end of the tail is extremely competent, the lower window line along the tailgate seals the edge, the waist body uses a protruding sharp edge line outline, and the concave door forms a more three-dimensional staggered structure, further increasing the overall sense of muscular strength.

Lynk & Co 03 rear styling for different configurations has some detail differences; the main difference lies in the shape of the spoiler, a relatively ordinary configuration using a simple ducktail spoiler, while some performance packages or customised versions of the model with a more combative atmosphere of the wide wing with. The tail light clusters adopt the popular through structure, with internal smoked accents plus short vertical strips of light band structure to make the lighting effect more avant-garde, with clear diffuser trim on the surface and a dual-exit exhaust setup to further add to the overall sporty tone.
Cockpit
Lynk & Co 03 adopts a more convenient cockpit layout for the main driver’s seat; the centre console has a bevelled countertop design, the surface is made of soft material with a tumbled leather design, and it is equipped with a clear light yellow stitching direction. The air vents span across the countertop to form a partition-like treatment, and the through structure also increases the visual width of the car.

large central dashboard
It is worth mentioning that the centre console is equipped with a large central control screen that can be lifted and lowered in the highest and lowest positions and set up in a very humane way. When you adjust the big screen to the lowest direction of the bottom of the screen, it is good to block the middle of the two air conditioning vents; in the hot summer, it can give the hot screen cooling. Therefore, the number of physical buttons is significantly reduced, the full touch control air conditioning is not convenient to use, the temperature control is sliding up and down, driving can not be very precise temperature control, and these settings have a slightly bad.

The 12.8-inch centre control screen is internally upgraded to a fully integrated Qualcomm 8155 chip, paired with 8GB of car memory to ensure a smoother operation of the CarLink system, which is also more fully configured in terms of application functions, including GPS, multimedia, and Bluetooth, among other practical functions.

As a compact model that also takes into account the family, Lynk & Co 03 has a body size of 4684 (4697/4677)*1834 (1877/1840)*1460 (1448/1461) mm, and the whole series of the car adopts one-piece sports seats, with relatively ample space in the rear, which provides a loose ride in normal use of the car.
Power Performance
Power is the biggest highlight of Lynk & Co 03, the whole series provides a total of five different power configurations, first of all, the 1.5T and 2.0T normal version, respectively, with 133kW (181Ps) and 187kW (254Ps) power figures and 290N-m/350N-m torque performance. 7DCT matching can make the power release smoothly and linearly, in order to further enhance the sporty attributes of Lynk & Co 03, also introduced 03+ and higher version, in which 03+ version power is further increased to 195kW (265Ps) and torque is also increased to 380N-m compared to the 2.0T version.

Lynk & Co 03 is also available in a higher performance 03+ version, with the engine adopting turbo and mechanical dual-charging modes, squeezing out a maximum of 257kW (350Ps) of superb power, and the maximum torque has been raised to 450N-m, allowing it to break 100 in just 4.89 seconds. To further comply with the new energy theme, Lynk & Co 03 also launched a 1.5T hybrid version, with a combined power of up to 180kW and a maximum torque of 545N-m, bringing the combined fuel consumption down to 4.5L/100km.

Summary
The upgraded Lynk & Co 03 meets the needs of consumers in terms of performance. Lynk & Co 03++, as the high-level work of the 03 family and the first high-performance car of a Chinese brand, is not only Lynk’s response to the users’ wish to have a Chinese high-performance car, but also the spirit of Lynk’s pursuit of performance and the pursuit of the ultimate.
